Leadership
RICHARD GRAY - President
With over 15 years experience, Dick Gray is a seasoned leader and partner in the architecture and construction industries. As a key figure at MLGP, Dick drives business growth, sets strategic vision, shapes company culture, and leads high-profile projects, all while fostering lasting client relationships. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning MLGP as a trusted partner in the commercial construction sector.
Before joining MLGP, Dick gained valuable experience as a design and project manager at Z Projects, LLP, where he specialized in Interior Architecture. He further refined his skills in healthcare design and project management through his role at Page Southerland, Page’s Healthcare Design Studio. Dick’s expertise was also enhanced through his work as an Assistant On-Site Field Superintendent at Spring Valley Construction Company, where he gained hands-on experience in field operations and project coordination.
Dick holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2007), and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington (2009). His strong educational foundation, coupled with his extensive hands-on experience, gives him unique perspective and the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects with both precision and creativity.
MIKE GRAY - Founder
When you hire Mike, you get Mike. That means that you get the undivided focus and concentration of a man who has spent the entirety of his adult life building. Mike has built structures, companies, relationships and family - all with equal devotion.
Mike Gray is the Founder of MLGP, a respected commercial general construction firm based in North Texas. Under his leadership, the company has built a strong reputation for exceptional construction management, collaborating closely with owners, architects, and contractors.
Mike’s career in construction began in 1984 as a Project Manager, advancing to roles including President and Partner. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience managing large-scale projects, solving complex problems, and driving the company’s growth and success.
With decades of experience in both construction and architecture, Mike combines technical expertise with deep industry knowledge to deliver outstanding results. His unique blend of wisdom and vision continues to propel MLGP's success.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design (1980) and a Master of Architecture (1982) from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed architect in Texas and a licensed general contractor in both Texas and Arizona.
JASON LITTLETON
Chief Operations Officer
Jason Littleton’s career spans more than two decades in the construction industry. He began with Southwest Construction Services. In 2005, Jason expanded his entrepreneurial expertise by becoming the President and Owner of T. King Building Services. In 2014, he took on the ownership and operation of Valle Verde Systems, further diversifying his portfolio in the service sector. Jason became President of Southwest Landscaping Services in 2018 - where he continued to make significant contributions to the company's growth and success.
In 2020, Jason joined MLGP as a Senior Project Manager, and his ability to drive results quickly earned him the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2024. Throughout his career, Jason has demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence and innovation, positioning himself as a key leader within the industry.
Jason and his wife, Kristan, currently reside in Midlothian, Texas, where they enjoy raising their three children: Garrett, McKenna, and Sloan.
LARRY HARDWICK - General Superintendent
Larry Hardwick brings decades of experience in the construction industry, with a strong track record of leadership in various roles. He began his career in 1996 as a Construction Manager at Five Star Properties, where he developed a solid foundation in project management and construction oversight. In 1998, Larry became Superintendent with Mansions Custom Homes, further refining his skills in site management and team leadership.
In 2004, Larry joined Spring Valley Construction Company as a Superintendent, taking on greater responsibilities and contributing to the successful completion of multiple projects. In 2008, Larry became the Construction Manager with CenterPoint Builders, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing large-scale construction projects. Larry has also served as Safety Manager for Blue Skies Fuel.
In 2013, Larry joined MLGP as a Senior Superintendent, where his wealth of experience and commitment to quality construction has made a significant impact. Throughout his career, Larry has demonstrated a strong dedication to excellence, safety, and efficiency in every project he has led.
Larry and his wife, Jennifer, currently reside in Collinsville, Texas.
Our History
At MLGP, our roots run deep in Dallas, Texas, where our story began in June of 2009. Our founder, Mike, envisioned a construction company built on the foundation of strong partnerships, where every project is not just a job, but a collaboration. Mike firmly believed that when we apply exceptional standards to our work and partner with those who share the same passion, dedication, and skill, everyone benefits. This ethos has been the cornerstone of our success and continues to guide us today.
In 2018, Dick Gray joined the ownership group, bringing his expertise, vision and leadership. By 2023, he assumed the role of President, and under his leadership, the company’s vision grew clearer and more focused. Together with Mike, and a talented team, Dick has helped to shape MLGP into a multifaceted company, now offering general construction, site development, and design/build services. Today, our team stands proudly with over 100 years of combined experience in the industry.
What makes MLGP truly special is the legacy of family wisdom and innovation that flows through every project we take on. As a generational business, we are committed to passing down the knowledge and values that have been ingrained in us over the years. We believe in staying grounded in the lessons of the past while embracing new, innovative methods to ensure that each project - and each partnership - is built to last. For us, it’s about more than just construction—it’s about building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional results that stand the test of time.
